- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity, both remotely and in person.
- Setting up new computers, software, and peripherals, ensuring they are properly configured and integrated into the existing network.
- Performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on computer systems and related equipment.
- Providing assistance and guidance to users on how to effectively use hardware and software, including training on new applications or systems.
- Vendor Support Acting as the point of contact and liaising with vendors for any IT related activities & projects.
- Tracking and managing user support requests, escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Maintaining accurate records of support requests, solutions, and system configurations.
- Effectively communicating with users & vendor about the status of their support requests and providing clear, concise instructions.
- Ensuring that all IT-related activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Diploma or Degree in IT related field.
- 1-2 years of working experience in IT deskside/helpdesk related support.
- Able to speak & write in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows (10, 11), Apple Mac OS & IOS, Google Android OS. Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Has basic knowledge in network troubleshooting at endpoint level.
- Has basic exposure in IT infrastructure equipment, e.g. router, switch, firewall, access point.
- Possess own transport, willing to travel (within Malaysia), positive thinking, willing to pickup new stuff, decent communication, and administration skills, contactable via modern communication tools (IM).
- Able to work with minimal supervision & prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
