the role:Perform engineering detailed design on current projects for onshore /offshore projects and to fulfill Departmental needs and support engineering operation within the Company.Main AccountabilitiesDESIGN BASIS, CODE & STANDARDUnderstanding and applying knowledge of design codes, industries standard and practices such as API/ISO/ ASME, etc. and Interpretation of the requirement to meet project requirementCompetent to resolve problems /trouble shoot based on Codes & Standards interpretationUnderstand Codes limitation, apply with accuracy and effectiveness.In-depth understanding of Client's specification (e.g. PTS, DEP etc.) and provide service which meet contract requirementsReview and raise clarifications on the ITB /Client documents/ Contractual documents in case of ambiguity in definition / lack of clarity / lack of reference/ areas of doubt etc. based on specialist experience /judgment.KNOWLEDGE OF STATIC EQUIPMENTIn-depth Understanding of rotating equipment used generally in oil and gas / refinery / industries for onshore and offshore applications, and select correct types of equipment for a given process service applicationIn-depth Understanding and engineering competence in hydraulics, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, rotor-dynamics, combustion etc.Able to predict rotating equipment performance without over dependence on VendorCompetent to review Vendor's various options (including limitation and /or deviation) and provide detailed technical evaluation (TBE/TBT) of the equipment.Competent to review in-house and Vendor's P&IDs and identify interfaces for the equipmentCompetent to witness the Vendor FAT / shop testing, and review test reports and provide relevant comments if anyCompetent to participate effectively to resolve any issues related to equipment testing in case of failures / deficiencies /under-performance /discrepancy during shop testing.Competent to provide support by responding to Site Technical Queries (STQ) regarding equipment engineering design /equipment installation / mechanical completion for field acceptanceCompetent to explore cost-saving options / energy efficient measures during project execution phase or during proposal, if requested, and if availableCompetent to actively involved in the equipment / project HAZOP and close out of any action pointsMATERIAL SELECTIONUnderstanding of various types of materials to be used for different services (Wet CO2 service, sour service, low-temperature service, toxic service, etc) and knowledge of material available in the market for the particular service and equipment, and review of Vendor proposes material.Understanding of materials grades to be used based on process's input / material selection report / of Vendor equipmentPERFORM AS LEAD ENGINEER ROLEOnce assigned as a Lead Engineer, able to provide total commitment to meet project values, monitoring of progress for achieve delivery objective, and execute within appropriate resourcesTo provide pro-activeness, creativity and efficiency in project executionCoordinate and plan resources for execution of project.TECHNICAL AUDITSAbility to carry out technical audits at the Department Manager request (For Senior Engineer more than 10 years experience)Able to effectively investigate and resolve any quality complaints or incidents raised by any interested parties, or when requested by Client, or project manager.OTHERSGood professional judgment, responsive and pro-active in execution of static equipment deliverables to meet project needs, and ability to handle difficult situations arise due to complexities of Project demandProduce quality engineering deliverables / service and meeting JV/ Client expectationFulfill QA /HSE aspects, with Hons). Possess at least minimum 7 years of engineering design experiences in various static equipment for onshore / offshore application, preferably with experiences in Green Hydrogen, Electrolyzer and Carbon Capture Storage Projects.Additional Information

Be willing to travel and stationed at various Engineering Operating Centers / Client Office on needs basis (for overseas assignment)
Site or fabrication experiences (1 to 2 years)
Exhibit and maintain good relationship with Client / Peers / Equipment Vendor & suppliers.
