Primary role is to ensure high standards of financial control and reporting including management accounts and taxation. Overall responsible for accounting, financial and costing activities of the Company.Job Responsibilities· Responsible for management accounting, financial reporting and analysis, costing and other accounting functions.
· Manage the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end closing, forecasting and budgeting.
· Ensure compliance with all accounting, tax, statutory, legislative requirements and group policies.
· Analyze data for decision making by operational and senior management.
· Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax and corporate secretarial matters.
· Drive new financial system implementations and upgrades.
· Formulate and implement financial policies.
· Assists in daily operations and other ad hoc projects as assign from time to time.Job Requirements· CPA with Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or its equivalent
· Minimum 5 - 7 years’ relevant working experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Working knowledge of QAD & SAP will be an advantage.
· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
· Experience in a supervisory role is essential
· Knowledge of manufacturing operations is preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word etc
· Strong interpersonal, communication & analytical skills.
· A good team player, meticulous and dynamic with the ability to multi-task
· Self-motivated, able to work under pressure & deliver within tight deadlines
· Operationally oriented.Working hours:
Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:45pm
