Degree Level: Bachelor's DegreeJob Description:The Senior Specialist, Project Implementation plays a key role in implementing the Group ERP system across AMEA, with a strong focus on General Ledger (GL) and Record to Report (R2R) processes. The role provides hands on support across functional design, data migration, user testing, change management, and post-go live stabilization. As the primary link between AMEA country teams, global project managers, IT, and vendors, the Senior Specialist ensures smooth and consistent rollout of the finance ERP. The role gathers and consolidates country requirements, represents the region in global design workshops, and ensures AMEA needs are understood and reflected in the global solution. The Senior Specialist also delivers regular updates to country finance leaders to maintain alignment, readiness, and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:Regional & Country AlignmentConsolidate country-level requirements and translate them into clear inputs for global design.Represent AMEA in global design workshops, advocating for regional needs and statutory requirements.Provide timely updates to country finance leaders on design decisions, progress, risks, and next steps.GL / R2R Process SupportSupport standardization of GL and R2R processes including chart of accounts, subledger integration, reconciliations, and month-end close.Validate GL configuration, mappings, balances, and reporting structures during design and testing.Assist country teams in adopting new close processes and ensuring readiness for cutover.Project CoordinationTrack project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across AMEA entities.Maintain RAID logs, implementation trackers, and status reports for regional visibility.Coordinate workshops, walkthroughs, and working sessions across multiple stakeholders.Data Migration & TestingSupport preparation, validation, and upload of GL master data, opening balances, and mapping tables.Lead reconciliation of migrated financial data and resolve discrepancies with global and country teams.Coordinate UAT activities, including scenario preparation, defect management, and retesting.Change Management & Go-Live SupportSupport end-user readiness activities, including training coordination and communication.Assist with cutover planning, GL freeze, data extractions, and post-go-live reconciliations.Provide hands-on hypercare support to stabilize GL/R2R processes after deployment.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, IT, or related fieldPart qualification in CIMA / ACCA / CA or equivalent will be an added advantage3 to 5+ years of experience in project management and coordination, specifically in ERP system implementationStrong understanding of accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial controls.Proficiency in finance modules and ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).Experience working with regional or multi-country stakeholders, with strong ability to collaborate across cultures and with global and local teams.Clear and resourceful communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse stakeholders.Self-motivated, organized, and forward-thinking, with strong results orientation and the ability to manage priorities effectively.Excellent coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills; hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.
