- Work with internal groups including Sales, R&D, Finance, Professional Hosting and Services, and other departments to structure customer proposals and agreements.
- Prepare and negotiate transactional agreements with customers, including license agreements, professional services agreements and hosted managed services agreement
- Review and negotiate in-licensing agreements and procurement contracts with SAS vendors.
- Advise technical and business development teams on legal matters through stages of product development.
- Manage legal business matters pertaining to SAS as assigned.
- Provide a variety of general corporate and commercial legal services to in-house clients.
- Regularly interact with senior internal and external individuals.
- Research and analyze proposed transactions, assess risks and rewards, and recommend strategies to minimize risk to the company.
- Lead contractual negotiations and interact regularly with senior internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
- Typically requires a minimum of four plus years of related experience.
- Law Degree from an accredited law school.
- Professional working proficiency in English.

- Prior in-house legal experience, ideally within a technology or software environment.
- Prior experience with SaaS, in-licensing agreements or other technology agreements.
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin (Traditional Chinese and or/Simplified Chinese) to provide ad hoc legal assistance to the Hong Kong and Taiwan businesses
- Background in private practice at a mid- to large-size law firm.
- Experience negotiating Australian and/or New Zealand contracts.
- Experience advising on public sector, government and/or regulated-customer contracts.
