ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the full-time competent Safety & Health Officer for construction projects, ensuring compliance with DOSH Act requirements Responsible for implementing and maintaining safety protocols, conducting safety training, and ensuring the health and safety of all workers on-site. Report and investigate any safety incidents or accidents, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities, and prepare necessary reports for management and regulatory bodies Ensure all activities are in compliance with local safety regulations and company policies, including contract terms with local authorities Act as the Site Safety Supervisor adhering to the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and the Factories and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967 Serve as part of a support group maintaining deployed systems to ensure their operability within the production environment REQUIREMENTS Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related Minimum 5 years in DC/BMS/automation/control /IT projects through the project lifecycle Certifications: Must have a Green Book or Yellow Book certification as part of safety requirements in the Malaysian construction industry. Certification as a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) by DOSH Malaysia is also required. Experience in construction industry or related industry is required Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to effectively educate and motivate workers on safety practices. In-depth knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other relevant safety regulations in Malaysia.
