The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely material availability to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations, while optimizing inventory levels and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and coordinate material flow to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with Warehouse and Production Planning departments to track material usage and ensure consumption accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels in line with company targets, including the management of obsolete stock.
- Establish and update safety stock levels based on forecasts and production plans.
- Oversee inbound logistics and actively work to reduce premium freight costs.
- Execute tasks in accordance with directions from the immediate superior.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in material planning or supply chain management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP - Materials Management module).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
