A Reputable Engineering Company is Looking for a Finance Executive - FP&A (based in Puchong) Your new company This company operates within Malaysia's industrial sector, offering equipment-related solutions and support services to various infrastructure and resource-driven industries. Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for: Manage monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including uploading, validating, and consolidating financial data using the designated reporting system. Support financial closing activities and audit processes for assigned entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Coordinate information requests for ongoing reporting requirements, including regular and ad-hoc submissions across multiple business units. Prepare detailed quarterly schedules and ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant data representation from all contributing teams. Assist in statutory financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, regional reporting, and allocated balance sheet reconciliations. Handle regulatory reporting tasks and contribute to the management of external audit processes when required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide reporting data and ensure smooth information flow across the organisation. Support a positive team culture by encouraging development, knowledge sharing, and maintaining a proactive, solutions-focused attitude. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this position, you will need: Minimum two years of accounting experience within a large corporate finance environment or professional services firm. Fresh Big4/10 Auditors are welcomed to apply. Solid understanding of consolidation processes and accounting policies. Strong familiarity with relevant accounting standards and their application. Hands-on experience preparing statutory financial statements. Competence in financial analysis, financial modelling, management reporting, and procurement-related processes. Ability to provide clear guidance on accounting and management-related queries.
