Our client is a prominent logistics provider offering end-to-end services including domestic and international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance solutions. As the company expands its client base in Malaysia and across global markets, they are looking to hire a Sales Executive to strengthen their sales and marketing efforts. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and driving revenue growth through targeted sales strategies. ● Develop and execute sales strategies to promote logistics and freight services. ● Identify and acquire new customers through various outreach channels including calls, emails, and in-person visits.
● Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor insights.
● Build strong client relationships and maintain consistent follow-ups.
● Prepare sales proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements.
● Achieve monthly sales targets across sea and air freight, import/export, and clearance services.
● Participate in internal sales meetings to propose new market opportunities and account developments.
● Monitor and ensure customer payments are aligned with credit terms and provide timely follow-ups.
● Provide feedback on competitors’ pricing and service trends to management.
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.Qualifications & Experiences Needed:
● Minimum SPM or above; diploma/degree in related fields is an advantage.
● 1 - 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
● Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
● A proactive, sales-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
● Familiarity with customer handling and quotation processes.
● Ability to handle objections and convert leads into successful sales.
● Strong sense of accountability in tracking performance and meeting targets.
● Proficiency in English. Mandarin is an added advantage due to client base diversity.
