The Associate Sales Manager supports the commercial leadership team in driving B2B ingredients and commodity sales, including applications of palm and dairy products in the food manufacturing sector. You will lead market development, negotiate trading agreements, and provide commercial insights to support regional business growth.
  • Grow B2B sales across food commodity products and general food ingredients segments in both local and regional SEA markets.
  • Spot new commercial opportunities, track market and pricing movements, and implement sales strategies to support business expansion.
  • Lead pricing discussions, manage trading-style negotiations, and secure contracts that align with company financial goals.
  • Acquire new customers and strengthen relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and key partners.
  • Oversee essential sales administration including budgets, payment follow‑ups, customer data accuracy, and resolution of product/quality issues.
  • Review sales performance, update forecasts, and deliver regular commercial insights and reports to management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' of B2B sales experience in food ingredients and dairy or palm-related products.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience handling price‑sensitive, trading‑driven customer discussions.
  • Exposure to local and export markets, ideally within SEA.
  • Global mindset, culturally adaptable, and able to influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical, customer‑focused, and able to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Willingness to travel; fluency in English (Bahasa or Mandarin a plus).
