plans for consolidation and future growth.The Opportunity
Working within the Transaction Monitoring team, you will be responsible for assisting the
Transaction Monitoring Manager across a number of duties. You will be a part of the
global Transaction Monitoring team, responsible for continuous monitoring, L1 escalation
reviews, alignment and escalation to the Compliance team.You will start working by understanding how the Transaction Monitoring Team operates,
taking a leadership role over a team of Transaction Monitoring Specialists on shift. As an
L2 Specialist you will support AFC/CTF obligations and will be a crucial part of
enhancing Internal processes and practices.Your Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex investigations
  • Manage the day-to-day tasks of the team, including work distribution, and efficiently
  • manage several work streams to ensure SLAs are maintained as well as assist the TM team with their daily tasks
  • Review escalations from L1 investigators
  • Submit internal SARs/STRs
  • Liaise with the Compliance team, Head of AFC Operations and Senior Leadership when needed
  • Assist with creating internal processes and guidelines
  • Conduct training to the Specialists when required
  • Contribute to various AML and Screening initiatives
  • Conduct 121’s with your team members, providing guidance and support as well as feedback to promote individual growth.
  • Support Transaction Monitoring Manager with process improvements and implementations and efficiently communicating changes and updates to the team
Your Profile
  • You have at least 5 years of AML and Screening experience
  • You worked in Fintech/EMI environment before
  • You have attention to detail and can detect suspicious activity with ease
  • Knowledge of the UK and EU AML/CFT regulatory framework is a must
  • You are interested in the AML field and stay up to date on new Fincrime trends
  • ICA, ACAMS certification is an advantage
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to talk easily to people at all levels of your organisation
