- Handle technical tasks related to planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs to optimize facility and equipment availability and productivity
- Assist in coordinating maintenance engineering work and liaise with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections, and the supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules
- Review mechanical and electrical engineering specifications and assess new equipment designs for reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Make decisions within the scope of your tasks, requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
- Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization, committing to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements
- To lead execute an efficient and effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities. Ensure Finishing Maintenance equipment and system achieve minimum downtime.
- To troubleshoot the machine independently or with minimum supervision.
- To provide facility, production or QC department support to other functions as and when is required.
- Ensure perform all PM on time and keep the records properly.
- To assist engineers level in cost reduction, cost saving, machine set-up and improve efficiency of PM and machines repairs time.
- To promote effective communication with peers across all shift and ensure efficient shift hand-over and effective start-up meeting.
- To lead investigation process and quality failures resulted from equipment/ process related problem and propose permanent solution to fix them.
- To updating all equipment and instrument Preventive Maintenance and other records in Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system in use.
- Ensure have some knowledge in handling of Chemicals and maintained in good condition.
- To provide a good support to superior or Manager for the assignment that assigned.
- To have speed & simplicity by providing an idea for machine, process & operation improvement.
- To have an accountable and ownership for all equipment and process in Finishing production equipment.
- To lead and support spare part inventory in order to avoid spare parts are running zero stocks.
- To perform and complete the tasks assigned by superiors or manager on time or earlier than given timeline.
- Participate extensively in the business development such as new project initiative by actively participating as project lead, project support or project executors.
- To lead the Scrubber Performance Monitoring and investigation process and quality failures resulted from equipment/ process related problem and propose permanent solution for related Scrubber person in charge. (for those who are applicable)
- Ensure all the parameters for Scrubber plant operation are within the standard range. (for those who are applicable)
