Job Summary Plant Project Manager to lead the plant on site day-to-day execution of customer-focused and cross-functional projects, including new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes (ECN) processes. This role is responsible for project planning, tracking, coordinating, and delivering on time with good quality, while ensuring alignment with internal processes and customer expectations. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical, and effective communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities 1) Project Leading, Planning, Execution & Continuous Improvement Lead Project from Phase0-Feasibility Study to Phase6-SOP+3 to meet customer expectation and achieve customer satisfaction, Project plan and tracker for all awarded programs Manage project tracker for project timelines, milestones, gate review and deliverables across all phases (APQP Phase 0-6) to ensure flawless project execution. Timely submission of TR, DFM, ECN, PPAP and prototype/samples in alignment with customer requirements and internal timelines. Support OpEx initiatives to enhance project efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve customer satisfaction. 2) Communication & Leadership Facilitate cross-functional communication between External/Internal customer, PM, quality, design, engineering, sourcing, SCM and production teams for NPI and ECN projects. Review, approve, and escalate key project milestones, risks, and mitigation plans as needed. 3) Costing Management Project ROI costing activities, ensure the standard product cost remains consistent from the quotation stage, through design, to mass production, and its gap analysis, review & approval. Collaborate with Sales, Business Development and Engineering to gather accurate BOMs, 2D/3D drawings, AVL data, and manufacturing process details for project estimation. 4) Reporting & Documentation Ensure accurate documentation of costing sheets, project timelines, and change management records. Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership on project status, risks, costing variances, and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Customer oriented, strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Experience managing APQP/NPI processes, and cross-functional project teams within a manufacturing or mechanical engineering environment. Cross functional team coordination 5+ years of experience in project management. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; PMP certification preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Ms Excel), and ERP systems.
