1. Life Asia Configuration & Development Configure insurance products, rules, workflows, and validation logic within the SMART environment. Develop and maintain COBOL programs for core processing, batch jobs, and complex business logic. Create and update integration programs to connect Life Asia with other systems such as CRM, payment gateways, accounting, and document management systems. 2. Testing & Quality Assurance Prepare unit test cases and perform unit testing to validate functionality. Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) by troubleshooting and resolving defects. 3. Maintenance & Support Provide second- and third-level support for Life Asia production issues. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application incidents within agreed SLAs. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Malaysia's PDPA and insurance industry standards. 4. Documentation & Collaboration Produce and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, configuration records, and change logs. Collaborate with business analysts, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with business needs and IT policies. Requirement: Proficiency in COBOL programming, including batch processing and performance tuning. Strong understanding of the Life Asia SMART configuration tool for product setup, rule definition, and workflow configuration. Knowledge of databases such as DB2 or Oracle. Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, file-based, MQ, etc.). Understanding of policy administration processes (new business, endorsements, renewals, claims, billing).
