We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who will take a leading role in shaping and safeguarding the quality of our data and technology platforms. You will be responsible for guiding and developing the testing approach across multiple products, improving release reliability, and strengthening our distributed delivery model between Belgium and Malaysia.You will report to the Delivery Manager and collaborate closely with delivery leads and business analysts in a distributed model. The position offers the opportunity to influence how quality is defined and achieved across our organisation.Typical dayOn a typical day, you might review test outcomes from the team, priorities defects with development leads, refine test plans for an upcoming release, and mentor a junior QA analyst on automation approaches.A snapshot of what you will be doing here:Quality leadershipDefine and refine the overall testing approach for active platforms and new product developmentsEstablish comprehensive test plans, test suites and documentation that support predictable release cyclesAct as a point of reference for testing standards and practices within the team and across related functionsAdvanced testing and defect managementConduct functional, regression and performance testing with a strong focus on early defect identificationActively challenge requirements and solution designs during pre-development reviews to ensure testability, identify gaps, and reduce downstream reworkProvide clear and structured defect reports with guidance that supports efficient fixing and future preventionAutomation and performance testingDesign and maintain automated test suites, ideally within a CI CD environmentSupport and mentor team members on automation best practicesApply performance and load testing methodologies using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similarQuality reporting and communicationPresent quality indicators and test outcomes to delivery leads and product stakeholdersHighlight risks, quality gaps and dependencies in a constructive and forward looking waySupport leadership in understanding trends and opportunities for improvement in quality processesProcess improvement and collaborationContribute to the development of improved testing processes, tooling and documentationWork closely with engineering and product teams in Belgium and Malaysia to support a seamless distributed workflowParticipate actively in user acceptance testing and provide guidance to analysts and business usersTake ownership of continuous improvements in how testing contributes to product stability and customer satisfactionWe are looking for someone who:Has 5+ years of professional QA experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a senior or lead testing role, with strong foundations in manual and regression testingHolds a degree in computer science, software engineering or a related fieldUnderstands testing methodologies at a senior level and is able to challenge and refine the way testing is performedHas experience designing and maintaining automated test suites, with the ability to mentor others on automation approachesIs familiar with performance and load testing methodologies and toolsIs proficient with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and has experience working in structured, enterprise level environmentsCommunicates clearly and confidently and adapts style to different technical and non-technical audiencesShows maturity in prioritising issues, managing context and dealing with ambiguityIs comfortable collaborating in a distributed team with shared responsibility across time zonesWe think you will love working with usYou will join a team that values ownership, structure and collaboration.
