This role will focus on providing financial analysis, reporting, and decision support for AMD’s global manufacturing and supply chain operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain and enhance financial models used for quarterly, annual, and long-range planning for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and capital expenditures (CapEx).
  • Support intra-quarter forecast and outlook processes to ensure timely and accurate updates.
  • Perform detailed expense variance analysis of actual results versus forecast and provide actionable recommendations for cost control.
  • Efficiently deliver ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as requested.
  • Compile inventory reconciliations and ensure accuracy of related financial data.
  • Execute month-end close activities, including expense reviews, accruals, reclassifications, and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with AMD’s financial policies and internal controls.
  • Help drive executive presentations by preparing financial inputs and insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency through automation and best practices.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or operations finance.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial planning tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, global environment
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent.
