- Planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling the activities of the operations at Penang & Kulim N2 Generator Plants & Penang pipeline& AEL
- In line with the company’s established set values, goals and objectives, safety and quality policies and standards.
- Provide continuously available and reliable products and services as required by the market at the optimum cost.
Principal responsibilities
- Instils the importance of safety in every staff and achieve zero accident in area of responsibility.
- Ensure smooth operation of the plant in term of reliability, efficiency and quality.
- Assist in the maintenance of all ISO accreditation and quality assurances related to plant operations.
- Support the effective implementation of environmental program and ensure the 100% compliance from every staff in plant operations.
- Support implementation and compliance of Quality, Safety and values of the company.
- Support the implementation of the division’s annual plan effectively.
- Develop technical core competencies that will ensure use of competitive advantage.
- Ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation, so that the country’s product cost base is always competitive in the market and comparable to the global prices.
- Ensure the reliability and optimization plant capacities to meet market demand.
- Assist in ensuring all the capital expenditures are within budgeted every fiscal year.
- Ensure that the products and services quality conform to customers’ requirements and company’s standards.
- Ensure every employee in plant operations is willing to contribute to the productivity, quality and safety.
- Training and development of high potential staff to have an effective succession plan.
- Ensure site compliance to key national, local legislative and Linde requirements.
- Ensure plant operations compliance and achieve performance standards.
o Promote site-safe program.
o Report and investigate hazards, accidents and near misses.
o Implement PPE standards.
o Implement safe work, operating and emergency procedures.
o Implement health and organizational rules.Key interfaces
