Job DescriptionTo lead the accounting function and manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accurate and timely accounting operations, strong internal controls, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous process improvement.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & People Management

Manage, coach, and develop an accounting team of at least 6 members.
Allocate workload, set clear objectives, and monitor team performance against KPIs and SLAs.
Ensure adequate resource planning, task allocation, and staff development.

Accounting Operations

Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including AR, AP, FA, CM, IC and GL functions.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
Manage closing schedules and ensure adherence to reporting timelines.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure proper documentation.
Provide accurate accounting information to management and stakeholders.

Internal Audit, Controls & Compliance

Manage internal audit processes, including audit planning, walkthroughs, and scope coordination.
Ensure effective internal controls across accounting processes.
Support external audits and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement

Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and risks in accounting processes.
Lead process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding finance services.
Collaborate with other offices and departments (e.g., IT, HR, OGC, Marketing) to ensure seamless operations.
Manage relationships with external auditors and third-party service providers as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or professional accounting certification such as CPA, CMA preferred).
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3-5 years in supervisory role.
Strong hands-on experience in AP, AR, FA, GL, accrual, cost allocation and closing.
Proven experience managing internal audit scopes.
Experience with process optimization and automation tools.
Excellent communications, problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience in managing a multi-functional shared services center.
Knowledge of finance and accounting best practices and emerging trends.
Ability manage chang and lead cross-functional project effectively.
