Business Analyst / Operations Specialist – Transformation Project (Life & Health Insurance)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst or Operations Specialist to support strategic transformation initiatives within our Life and Health Insurance business . The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge, experience in operations or business analysis, and a track record of contributing to complex transformation projects including process reengineering, system upgrades, digital transformation, or regulatory compliance initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Act as a bridge between business operations, IT, and transformation teams to ensure alignment of project goals with business needs in the Life/Health insurance space. Analyze and map current business processes and identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements specific to life and health insurance products, claims, underwriting, policy administration, or customer service. Support the design and implementation of new target operating models, digital tools, or systems upgrades. Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. Work closely with IT, product, and testing teams to ensure proper implementation, UAT, and rollout. Provide SME input during system transformation, migration, or implementation (e.g., policy admin systems, CRM platforms, claims systems). Support change management and training activities to ensure operational readiness and adoption. Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of transformation deliverables. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Operations, or related field. Over 5 years of experience in business analysis or operations within the life or health insurance industry . Demonstrated experience in large-scale transformation or process improvement projects (e.g., digital transformation, system migration, automation, operating model redesign). In-depth understanding of insurance processes such as policy lifecycle management, claims processing, underwriting, and regulatory compliance. Experience in transformation programs involving platforms like Guidewire, Oracle Insurance, Ingenium, or other insurance core systems. Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and digital platforms. Experience working in Agile and hybrid project environments. Proficiency with BA tools and documentation standards (e.g., BRD, FRD, BPMN, MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working across cross-functional teams. Show more Show less
