Position Overview We are looking for a candidate responsible for transforming business requirements to technological solutions by defining, analyzing and documenting requirements; mapping and streamlining business processes and verifies technological solution to fulfil business needs in the bank reconciliation system implementation. Candidate will be the key contact point for the system, assisting the regional project manager in implementing a bank statement reconciliation project. He/she will be required to provide application support to the business, i.e. change requests, defect management, impact analysis and workaround during development phase as well as after system has gone live. Essential Job Functions - BA Point of contact interfacing between technical team to business users on issues and change requests. Guide developers in the understanding of the required specifications Validate application conformance to specifications Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for bank reconciliation system Lead and assist functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Micro Focus ALM). Follow through the resolution and/or establish resolution plan Validate data migration and integrations between the new data reconciliation system and other systems such as banks, and source systems. Work with vendor's development team to plan out data migration activities. Participate in release planning and provide data migration estimates and timelines. Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards and best practices. Establish good working relationships with peers and users Conduct training with users or internal IT teams On-going application support. Mandatory skillsets: Good command of English, both written and spoken At least 5 years' experience in business analyst role, in insurance industry with at least coverage of either life, group or general insurance business Strong understanding of bank statement reconciliation process. Experience in Broadridge Data Controlled Reconciliation platform or similar systems. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Other Skills/Abilities Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, HPQC/Micro Focus ALM Preference Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA). Experience in the role of software developer, business analyst, test management with some project management experience. 2 - 3-year project management experience went through at least 2 full SDLC cycle from requirements study to system goes live.
