- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable (A/P) processing for multiple countries in APAC, EMEA, US, and LATAM.
- Lead Accounts Receivable (A/R) Cash Application processes across all supported regions.
- Manage Global Vendor Master Data Management, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with global standards.
- Lead Customer Master Data Management specifically for the APAC region.
- Collaborate with global business and finance leaders to define and expand the strategic vision and operations of the Shared Services Center.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service levels.
- Partner with stakeholders to assess and implement the expansion of services within the SSC scope, including potential new functional areas or geographies.
- Lead and inspire a team of approximately 70 - 85 professionals, including 5 direct reports.
- Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, development, and innovation.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development opportunities for SSC staff.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for the Malaysia office, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive working environment.
- Serve as a fiduciary director for the Malaysian legal entity, upholding corporate governance, legal, tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Represent the company in interactions with local authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders as required.
- Ensure operations comply with internal controls, SOX requirements, and global financial policies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across regional and global finance and non-finance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance operations or shared services leadership, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Proven experience managing multi-regional finance operations, including A/P, A/R, and MDM.
- Strong people leadership experience, including leading large teams and senior direct reports.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, change management, and operational transformation.
- Sound ethical mindset, strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Webcenter) and familiarity with automation tools and digital transformation in finance operations preferred.
- Experience in local office management and understanding of fiduciary responsibilities under Malaysian corporate law preferred.
- Fluent in English and Malay, preferred fluency in Chinese.
