Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership

Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable (A/P) processing for multiple countries in APAC, EMEA, US, and LATAM.
Lead Accounts Receivable (A/R) Cash Application processes across all supported regions.
Manage Global Vendor Master Data Management, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with global standards.
Lead Customer Master Data Management specifically for the APAC region.

Strategic Development

Collaborate with global business and finance leaders to define and expand the strategic vision and operations of the Shared Services Center.
Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service levels.
Partner with stakeholders to assess and implement the expansion of services within the SSC scope, including potential new functional areas or geographies.

People Leadership

Lead and inspire a team of approximately 70 - 85 professionals, including 5 direct reports.
Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, development, and innovation.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development opportunities for SSC staff.

Local Office Leadership & Legal Entity Governance

Provide day-to-day leadership for the Malaysia office, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive working environment.
Serve as a fiduciary director for the Malaysian legal entity, upholding corporate governance, legal, tax, and regulatory compliance.
Represent the company in interactions with local authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders as required.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure operations comply with internal controls, SOX requirements, and global financial policies.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across regional and global finance and non-finance teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance operations or shared services leadership, preferably within a multinational environment.
Proven experience managing multi-regional finance operations, including A/P, A/R, and MDM.
Strong people leadership experience, including leading large teams and senior direct reports.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, change management, and operational transformation.
Sound ethical mindset, strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Webcenter) and familiarity with automation tools and digital transformation in finance operations preferred.
Experience in local office management and understanding of fiduciary responsibilities under Malaysian corporate law preferred.
Fluent in English and Malay, preferred fluency in Chinese.
