- Achieve yearly growth target of the branch.
- Conserve renewals and grow the agency force through grooming and recruitment.
- Ensure the development of portfolio mix and achieving underwriting profit in alignment with Company appetite.
- Conduct risks inspection and acceptance whilst exercising the Underwriting Authority Limit as assigned by the Company.
- Ensure effective and efficient support in managing the agents and their customers.
- Provide guidance to the staff under their care in areas of technical knowledge and career path.
- Work with other stakeholders as required by the Company.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
- Degree in any discipline or insurance qualification eg AMII or DMII
- Minimum 4-5 years experiences in sales or marketing; preferably in Financial Products
- Good command of English language[both spoken and written]
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
