Location: Malaysia (Kota Damansara) Salary: RM5,000-RM7,000 Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to manage the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-growing digital marketing agency. This role focuses on execution, accuracy, and consistency across financial reporting, cashflow tracking, SST compliance, payroll, invoicing, and payment processing - while supporting management with clear visibility of the company's financial position. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Operations & Reporting -Manage full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL) -Prepare monthly management accounts -Maintain accurate P&L tracking (monthly) -Ensure timely month-end closing 2. Cashflow & Financial Monitoring -Track weekly and monthly cashflow position -Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding invoices -Provide simple cashflow projections (short-term) 3. SST, Taxes & Compliance -Handle SST submissions and compliance -Liaise with external tax agents and auditors -Ensure proper documentation for LHDN / audit readiness 4. Client Invoicing & Revenue Tracking -Manage client invoicing -Ensure invoices are: -Issued accurately -SST-compliant -Properly tracked -Reconcile revenue with internal records 5. Payroll & Payment Processing Manage monthly payroll processing (salaries, statutory contributions, etc.) Ensure timely and accurate submissions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB where applicable) Process vendor and operational payments upon management approval Maintain proper records of all disbursements 6. Cost Tracking & Control -Track key expense categories: -Talent fees -Ad spend -Production costs -Flag unusual or high-cost items to management -Support basic cost visibility and discipline 7. Management Reporting -Provide clear and structured financial reports to management, including: -Monthly P&L summaries -Cashflow position updates -Expense breakdowns -Highlight key insights such as: -Revenue trends -Cost movements -Cash position risks 8. Process & System Support -Maintain organized financial records and documentation -Improve basic workflows (invoicing, tracking, reporting) -Support implementation of simple financial systems if needed Requirements - Must-Have: -3-6 years experience in accounting / finance -Experience handling full set of accounts -Familiar with SST and Malaysian tax environment -Experience managing payroll and statutory submissions -Strong in Excel / Google Sheets & Quickbooks -Detail-oriented and structured Good-to-Have: -Experience in agency / services / SME environment -Familiar with high-volume invoicing environments -Experience working with external auditors / tax agents Ideal Candidate Profile: -Execution-focused, strong in operations -Reliable and detail-oriented (low error rate) -Comfortable handling volume and deadlines -Able to work independently in a fast-paced SME environment Growth Opportunity: -Opportunity to grow into a Finance Lead role as the company scales -Exposure to high-revenue, multi-client operations -Direct reporting to founders / leadership team
