- Define and implement the category strategy, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools, and policies.
- Drive value creation through TCO, risk mitigation, innovation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Own supplier strategy, negotiations, and long-term partnerships at global level, and lead initiatives to enhance commercial excellence and operational resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain) to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Leverage advanced analytics and digital tools to improve spend visibility, optimize supplier performance, and implement agile procurement practices.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and responsible sourcing standards globally.
- Significant experience in strategic procurement of raw or direct materials (vitamins or chemical ingredients preferred)
- Proven leadership of regional or global procurement initiatives in complex, multinational environments.
- Strong supplier and stakeholder relationship management skills, including communication, negotiation, influencing and presentation.
- Previous experience managing projects in complex, multi-national environment and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience driving successful change management within complex organizations.
- Tertiary qualifications in manufacturing or a science-related field is preferred, with a strong understanding of food processing and chemical production.
- Business Proficient in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, French, is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, resilient and solution oriented.
