- Responsible for daily smooth operations of the whole warehouse and logistics.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
- Continuously improve the service level, speed of work and cost effectiveness of inventory management, warehousing, incoming and outgoing operations.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Responsible to conduct stock counts and variance reports to feedback to Management with constructive reaction/plan to reduce recurring variances.
- Responsible to monitor 3PL Warehouse performance.
- Responsible for monthly Joint Venture (JV) Billing submission on timely manner.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
- To ensure KPI Dashboard are updated timely manner every month.
- Monitoring warehouse expenses and looking for cost saving opportunity.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Responsible for ensuring that the highest levels of productivity and order accuracy are attained.
- Responsible manpower planning especially during peak/campaigns.
- Ensure that all warehouse operational and safety processes are followed.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping are always maintained.
- Closely monitor and track the respective person in charge (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory and Administration) as well as daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of KPI's.
- Responsible to submit monthly KPI's reporting on timely manner.
- Responsible to track all discrepancies that are reported, and investigation are carried out.
- Responsible to monitor, track and replenish all warehouse packaging materials.
- Responsible to monitor and track warehouse MHEs and maintenance.
- Promote a safe and disciplined working environment.
- Contribute to other developments of the company on an ad hoc basis.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by the Superior as & when the need arises.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in Logistics/Warehouse operations role.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Knowledge in SAP System will be an advantage.
- Managing e-commerce operation will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in computer software especially Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Self-driven, dynamic, and eager to learn.
- Be experienced with knowledge in Good Warehouse Practices.
- Excellent communication, process management and supervision skills.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
