- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing, engineering and other relevant functions on improving their quality performance.
- Understand and proactively address internal customer requirements and concerns, analyzing issues and recommending effective solutions.
- Independently lead projects/feature changes that positively impact organizational functions.
- Analyse product failure, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) to respond to customer (either internally or externally) complaints
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, kaizen lean methods, etc
- Participate in and support internal and external assessments, qualifications, and yearly audits.
- Support and align with global and regional commodity strategies.
- Serve as an effective technical resource for product/process/service support across various teams, providing technical assistance to cross-functional groups as needed.
- Contribute to achieving departmental goals and strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for production regarding customer / field quality issues related to both mechanical and electronic component parts. Liaise between customer operations and R&D for quality improvements and corrective actions.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Quality Management and Manufacturing Operations (from incoming, SMT, Wave to Back End Assembly).
- Experience with Problem Solving skills, Analytical Knowledge and Root Cause Analysis is preferred.
- Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Prior experience in handling manufacturing issues is an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate between various departments and external suppliers.
