- Manage and/ or provide technical actuarial advice for IFRS17 design and implementation for TP Malaysia and TP Reinsurance
- Peer review, manage and/ or support Statutory Role of the Appointed Actuary for TPM and TPR by performing analyses required and communicate with auditors / regulators
- Manage and/ or provide actuarial support for Valuation of Insurance Liability and IFRS17 design/ implementation for TP Thailand
- Manage and/ or perform analyses required for other ad-hoc support, technical advice and guidance to the group and its entities
- Provide support, technical advice and guidance to the junior Actuarial members
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or any other quantitative fields, and in the process of attaining an internationally recognized actuarial qualification
- Excellent academic track record (First class or equivalent)
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience with an (re)insurance firm, consulting firm or financial services organization
- Working knowledge and experience in at least 3 core Actuarial areas in General/ Health (Re)Insurance including IFRS17: ERM, Capital Modelling, Reinsurance, Regulatory Reporting (Valuation, FCR, ICAAP, RBC) etc
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Detail oriented and excellent problem-solving skills to be able to work on projects independently with minimal guidance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Highly motivated, committed and goal oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and preferably ResQ and/or other actuarial/modelling/ programming tools
- Strong command of English (verbal and written)
