Merchant Growth Specialist (Grocery B2B) Job Overview As a Business Development Executive for the B2B segment at Jaya Grocer, you will be responsible for expanding the company's reach and driving growth within the business-to-business market. This includes identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing relationships with corporate clients, institutions, and other businesses. You will play a key role in increasing revenue and ensuring Jaya Grocer becomes the preferred supplier for B2B clients. This position is on-site and based in our Penang, Malaysia office. The role requires candidates to have their own transportation and be able to travel across both Penang Island and Mainland Penang. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform 1. Build strong relationships with potential B2B clients, including corporate offices, hospitality businesses, and institutions. 2. Develop customized solutions and negotiate profitable contracts to establish long-term partnerships. 3. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities in the B2B segment. 4. Analyze competitors and provide actionable insights to enhance Jaya Grocer's B2B offerings. 5. Create and implement strategies to achieve B2B sales targets, boost revenue, and identify new growth opportunities. 6. Address client concerns promptly, provide ongoing support, and develop loyalty programs to retain clients. 7. Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback, and present recommendations to senior management for strategic planning.
