- Diploma/Certificate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage site workers and subcontractors.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Willing to work on-site and travel as required.
- Site Safety & Toolbox Talks. Conduct daily toolbox meetings with all on-site workers and subcontractors to communicate the day's tasks and enforce safety regulations and best practices.
- Workforce Supervision. Provide direct supervision of all workers and subcontractor teams to ensure they are performing their duties efficiently and correctly.
- Work Quality Control. Inspect all ongoing and completed work to ensure IT meets the required quality standards and project specifications. Identify and report any non-conforming work immediately.
- Site Resource Management. Manage the daily use and placement of materials, tools, and equipment on-site to ensure they are available when needed and stored correctly.
- Material Delivery Checks. Check all incoming material deliveries against the Delivery Orders (DOs) and inspect for any damage or discrepancies before accepting them.
- On-Site Coordination. Coordinate with different trades and subcontractor teams to prevent conflicts and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Site Housekeeping. Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy throughout the day, and supervise daily cleanup activities to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Weekly Site Progress Reporting. Prepare a detailed weekly report on physical site progress, manpower, and key activities completed.
- Site Inspection & Walkthrough. Conduct a comprehensive weekly site inspection to identify potential safety hazards and quality issues that require action.
- Work Schedule Adherence. Review the weekly work plan to ensure on-site activities are progressing in line with the overall project master program.
- Progress Claim Verification. Verify the completed works of all subcontractors on-site to assist the Project Engineer with the monthly progress claims.
- Monthly Safety Audit. Participate in or conduct a formal monthly safety audit to review overall site safety performance and compliance.
