HR Operations and Payroll
- Overseeing and ensuring accurate and timely processing of the organization's payroll
- Managing the end-to-end payroll cycle, including salary, bonus, and benefits administration
- Maintaining and ensuring integrity of employee master data
- Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and SOPs, ensuring compliance and efficiency
- Providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle
- Actively participating in HR projects, particularly those focused on process improvement including but not limited to changes in payroll vendor services and other aspects of HR Operations automations
- Driving initiatives within the HR Operations - Business Process Redesign project, focusing on Payroll, Time, and Attendance
- Supporting the Head of HR and Education in fostering a positive workplace culture through effective employee communication and engagement initiatives
- Assisting in embedding Sephora's purpose and values across the organization
- Managing HQ relevant employee relations issues and providing guidance to line managers based on established policies
- Ensuring HR activities and advice complies with relevant business policies, ethical standards, legal obligations, and legislation
- Communicating and supporting the implementation of changes to HR policies and disciplinary procedures
- Collaborating with Asia HR on the implementation of market-specific Ethics and Compliance policies and investigations support
- Supporting the Head of HR and Education in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with Sephora's business objectives
- Building collaborative relationships with business leaders to understand and address their people-related needs
- Utilizing HR analytics to provide insights for people-related decisions and talent movement
- Partnering with Department Heads to support organizational and people capability development
- Assisting the Head of HR and Education with change management practices
- Administering the Annual Performance Review, Annual Salary Review, and Promotion Cycles
- Supporting the development and execution of talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies
- Assisting in recruitment efforts and promoting Sephora's employment brand initiatives
- Supporting identification of key talent and succession planning initiatives
- Providing coaching to People Leaders Performance Review, PIP) as guided by HR leadership
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience as a HR generalist, with experience in the areas of payroll
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and regulations and HR practices
- Hands-on and solution-oriented with a strong ability to manage complex HR operational processes
- Entrepreneurial spirit and able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous stakeholders
- An advocate for people engagement and development
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
