This role shapes commercial strategy by delivering decisive financial insight, challenging assumptions, and enabling data‑led decisions across pricing, customer profitability, and investment to maximise long‑term value.What you’ll do
- Act as the primary commercial finance partner to regional leadership, delivering financial insights, leading performance reviews (orders, revenue, margin, P&L), and influencing commercial decision‑making.
- Drive commercial reporting and analysis by assessing revenue, margin, order book, and cost trends, producing executive dashboards, and developing financial models for forecasting and scenario planning.
- Lead regional budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning in partnership with FP&A Centres of Excellence, supporting key driver analysis and performance improvement initiatives.
- Optimise revenue, pricing, and margin through customer, product, and contract profitability analysis, pricing frameworks, tender support, and financial input into customer negotiations.
- Support investment appraisal, governance, and digital enablement by evaluating business cases and capital investments, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and championing data, analytics, and financial tools.

- Proven experience in commercial finance, finance business partnering, or commercial management roles.
- Demonstrated ability to support and influence global stakeholders at all levels within a matrixed environment.
- Strong financial modelling capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex insights clearly and confidently.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is essential.
- Professional qualifications (CPA, CIMA, CFA) and experience in mining, industrial, or related sectors are highly regarded.
- Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously.
