Qualification: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Experience: Provide day-to-day technical support for production lines and equipment used in wafer fabrication, packaging, assembly, or semiconductor equipment manufacturing. Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure compliance with process control plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for yield, throughput, and cost reduction using Lean, Six Sigma, and DOE methodologies. Define and monitor key process parameters and metrics (yield, cycle time, OEE). Support ramp-up and stabilization of new product introductions (NPI) and process changes. Collaborate with equipment engineering teams to install, qualify, and maintain production tools. Define PM schedules, troubleshoot tool downtime, and drive uptime improvements. Develop and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve process repeatability and operator ergonomics. Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control plans. Support engineering change orders (ECOs), risk assessments, and FMEAs. Ensure traceability and revision control in line with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or SEMI standards. Work with R&D, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams to support cross-functional projects. Lead or contribute to Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Interface with vendors for technical evaluations of materials, tooling, and equipment. Technical Skillset Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, welding, assembly, etc.). Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA) and MS Office. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM concepts. Knowledge of GD&T, tooling, fixtures, and CNC machining processes. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
