This person is able to make clear trade-offs between speed, scalability, and return on investment (ROI), and translates complex business challenges into practical, scalable digital solutions with measurable impact.They are comfortable working in ambiguity, driving rapid iteration, and enabling teams to ship and learn quickly while building for long-term scale.WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Own the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives with a strong bias for speed, iteration, and measurable business outcomes. Enable rapid experimentation, MVP launches, and continuous improvement cycles across consumer and partner-led products.
Act as a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, shaping technology strategy in direct alignment with business growth, product direction, and commercial priorities.
Build and lead a high-performing, fast-moving engineering organisation that prioritises speed-to-market, iterative delivery, and system scalability. Continuously evolve ways of working to enable rapid shipping without compromising core system integrity.
Translate business opportunities and constraints into clear technical approaches, making pragmatic decisions and trade-offs to deliver scalable solutions quickly.
Own and manage technology investments with strong commercial discipline — evaluating trade-offs across cost, speed, and ROI, and prioritising initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
Act as a catalyst for change, leading transformation initiatives with resilience and precision. Proactively identify potential risks, delays and issues early in order to manage expectations and prevent surprises.
Design and evolve systems that support partner integrations, embedded insurance models, and multi-market scalability.
Partner closely with Product, Underwriting, and Commercial teams to co-create scalable, sellable products and drive technology-enabled revenue growth.

RequirementsWHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

10+ years of experience in technology, engineering, or digital roles, with at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership capacity. Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments (startups, scale-ups, or transformation contexts) is strongly preferred.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in InsurTech, Insurance, FinTech, Digital Banking, or other regulated environments — particularly those who have operated at the intersection of technology, product, and business.
Demonstrated ability to operate in high-velocity environments, with a track record of shipping products quickly, iterating based on real-world feedback, and balancing speed with system reliability.

Strong bias for action and decisiveness — able to make sound decisions with incomplete information, and continuously refine based on outcomes.

Strong problem-solving skills with solutioning mindset in environments with incomplete information or evolving requirements.

Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical, digital, and analytical concepts clearly and persuasively to non-technical stakeholders.

Understanding of modern technology stacks including cloud platforms, APIs, data platforms, and analytics, with the ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions aligned with business needs.
Ability to lead and earn credibility with both senior stakeholders and engineering teams, balancing technical depth with business alignment.
Demonstrated potential to grow into a broader technology leadership role, with increasing ownership across technology strategy, organisational leadership, and business impact.
