Job DescriptionAssess the adequacy of the analysis of alternative strategies and resource dependencies as a pre-requisite to the development of continuity plans and the allocation of resources for the purposes ofBCM.Support the delivery of Operational Resilience framework to the business.Provide guidance and support in the creation of standardized BCM plans, testing, and incident management processes.Manage standardized and consistent strategic and tactical activities of the business/regional office BCM Advisors (s) including:- Business Impact Analysis (analysis of the time-dependent consequences of an outage of essential business processes)- BCP Plan Development, Documentation and Implementation- Identify areas of emerging risk- Test, Verify and Perform gap closure on all assigned business functions/units- Creation of a BCP/Emergency Response Environment within Business Line(s) of responsibility- Review and identify any instances of undue risk-taking by business and functional executives in the identification of risks, the definition of risk tolerances, the selection of continuity tasks and strategies or the testing of continuity plans.- Assist the BCM Business leads in testing of BCM capability across the platform and/or region as required, increasing cross-business line and regional readiness- Management of BCM Resources, Reporting, Training/Education,- Audit related inquiries and associated audit findings, and Emergency Communications within the Business Line(s) of responsibility- Partner with Business Line Executives to create, coordinate and maintain a multi-discipline Incident Management Team and provide response capabilities for the Platform- In case of incident or disruptive event, Secretary to the Incident Management Team, maintaining a working relationship/liaison with other Incident Management Teams, as required- Provide leadership, motivation and developmental opportunities to BCM Business leads and measures their performance and progress to personal and / or team goals- Keep abreast of changes and new developments relating to RBC financial products, services, operational processes, information technologies and compliance imperatives – as they relate to continuity risk profiles and risk thresholds-Track the resolution of all BCM control related deficiencies within platform (e.g. Internal Audit, MICR, BCP Readiness slippage)Job Skills Availability Management, Business Continuity, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Oriented, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Group Problem Solving, IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), Operational ResilienceAdditional Job DetailsAddress: PERSIARAN IRC 2, IOI RESORT CITY IOI CITY TOWER ONE:PUTRAJAYACity: PutrajayaCountry: MalaysiaWork hours/week: 40Employment Type: Full timePlatform: CAPITAL MARKETSJob Type: RegularPay Type: SalariedPosted Date: 2026-04-16Application Deadline: 2026-05-14Note: Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM on the day prior to the application deadline date aboveOur Employment OpportunitiesAt RBC, we are guided by living shared values of Client First, Integrity, Collaboration, Respect and Excellence and winning together as One RBC.
