An IT Engineer specializing in Virtual Solutions responsible for the design, implementation, and management of virtualized environments and storage solutions. This role involves ensuring the availability, performance, and security of virtual infrastructure and storage systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with virtualization technologies, including Azure, Citrix and VMware, along with familiarity with network-attached storage (NAS) and cloud storage solutions. Work tasks and responsibilities: VMware Horizon and Citrix (On-Prem & Cloud), including VM provisioning, configuration, performance tuning, and lifecycle management. Microsoft Windows OS technologies Active Directory including Azure AD Scripting with Powershell Applications (Installing, upgrading and troubleshooting) Pluss if you also have experience from one or several applications: O365 (Overall medium knowledge of O365) Basic to average knowledge about MS SQL. PKI Certification handling Linux/Unix OS technologies Monitoring (SCOM, Solarwinds) Who are you We are looking for a reliable, responsible and proactive contributor with a strong sense of accountability. We hope you bring experience within: VMware Horizon and Citrix (On-Prem & Cloud), including VM provisioning, configuration, performance tuning, and lifecycle management. Hyper-V deployment and management, including network and storage integration. Windows Serve r administration, including installation, configuration, patch management, and security hardening. Ability to provide Tier 2/3 support for virtualization platforms, including root cause analysis and preventive maintenance. Experience creating end-user training materials and maintaining technical documentation. System performance tuning and capacity planning using monitoring tools and performance metrics. Automating tasks and workflows using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) Experience with VMware vSphere upgrade and maintenance, Nasuni deployment or Isilon clusters is preferred , but not required. Formal requirements: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within Azure, Citrix and VMware Bachelor's degree within IT. Extensive competence may compensate for formal education. Relevant certifications (Azure 900 expected, more advanced certifications beneficial) Fully fluent in English, both written and oral. Fluency in Malaysian beneficial.
