Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Johor Bahru . S eeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on Group Accountant with solid audit background, to support Group-level financial reporting and consolidation, while taking full end-to-end ownership of the accounting for two assigned entities with relatively limited transaction volumes. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of Group consolidated financial statements and schedules on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Manage and review intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and elimination of intercompany transactions, balances, investments, share capital and reserves. Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent reporting. Ensure compliance with IFRS / applicable GAAP and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. Support Group-level audits, including preparation of schedules and liaison with auditors. Take full end-to-end ownership of the complete set of accounts for assigned subsidiaries, from bookkeeping through to tax and statutory reporting. Assist with tax, treasury or regulatory reporting as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as CA / ACCA / CPA is strongly preferred. 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, including group consolidation exposure, with at least 3 years in audit Familiar with drafting or reviewing audited Financial Statements. Good working knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP. Proven experience in management and Group reporting within a multinational group structure is essential. Strong Excel skills, with the ability to perform detailed analysis and complex reconciliations. Solid understanding of accounting systems and ERPs; NetSuite experience is an advantage. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones. Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to manage competing priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
