Overview:Element has an opportunity for a Civil Technician for testing, sample preparation and delivery/collection of samples and preparation of test reports. Candidates should ideally have gained considerable experience in construction material testing either with a commercial test house or contractor.This role is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.Responsibilities:
Perform soil, concrete and aggregate testing
Conduct density test
Sampling of concrete for compression and flexural test
Conduct slump testing
Have an idea / conduct asphalt testing (preferable)
Prepare and compile reports
Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or Materials Science
Good communication skills and ability to work in teams and to work under pressure
