Internal Control & Policy Enforcement: Implements and maintains strong internal controls, while also developing and enforcing accounting and reporting policies and procedures. Process Optimization: Continuously designs and improves accounting and reporting processes to make them simpler, more standardized, higher quality, and more cost-efficient. System Management & Support: Ensures effective support and optimization for financial systems, including leading SAP or other system implementations and resolving any related issues. Audit Resolution & Best Practices: Actively works to close outstanding audit issues and champions the adoption of best operating practices and continuous improvement in financial processes. Team Leadership & Development: Provides coaching and mentorship to team members and handles additional tasks as assigned by management.
