About the role The Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer (Chargeman BO) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of all instrumentation and control systems across Tampoi and Pasir Gudang sites. This role focuses on calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of instrumentation systems to support safe and efficient plant operations. Work Location Pasir Gudang Reporting to Engineering and Maintenance Manager Key responsibilities Calibration & Testing Plan and execute calibration of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level) to meet standards. Preventive Maintenance Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation and control systems. Compliance Ensure all instrumentation activities comply with GMP, Food Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations. Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and maintain process accuracy. Documentation Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and compliance in SAP PM system. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance instrumentation reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Project Support Assist in instrumentation design, installation, and commissioning for new projects. Training Provide technical training to maintenance teams on instrumentation best practices. Key Accountabilities Ensure accurate and reliable performance of all plant instrumentation. Maintain compliance with calibration and safety standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives for instrumentation systems. Provide timely troubleshooting and technical support to operations. Maintain SAP PM data integrity for instrumentation activities. Qualifications and skills Education Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering Competent Electrical Chargeman BO Technical Instrumentation systems, calibration, PLC/DCS knowledge, SAP PM (essential); 3+ years experience (desirable) Behavioral Attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork Beware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
