Arus is constantly searching for ways to make education more accessible and impactful through systemic and ground-up approaches. We advocate for five main literacy areas, which are STEAM education, financial literacy, media and information literacy, social and emotional learning, and global citizenship education. In our mission to empower today's problem solvers, we have been running year-long school programmes with students from Buku Jalanan Chow Kit. This role will support creative content creation and management. Responsibilities based on Objectives: Strengthen organisation value and knowledge-driven digital presence. Guide, review & develop graphic design & video content for Arus and selected Arus' programmes to ensure brand cohesiveness and effectiveness of creative content. Support in the creation of Arus' and its project social media digital campaigns. Engage with multiple stakeholders professionally to sustain brand trust. Manage the organisation&aposs social media accounts daily, including posting content, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers. They should also be able to use social media tools and platforms effectively. Create value and knowledge-driven social media content. Assess, research, and develop content that is relevant to the education field and mind-stimulating. Illustrate, test and improve learning materials. Support the design, planning, curation & editing of content for Arus and its project video documentaries. Shoot, edit, curate and publish Arus' video campaigns as planned and on time. Share production skills with the Arus-wide team. Create processes that would improve creative content production within Arus. Key Measure of Success: Consistency in social media planning and posting as agreed with the team. Innovation of social media posts. Increase in social media engagement. Key Results: All social media accounts are updated regularly with high engagement content. Expected skills: Competency in one of the following graphic design software: Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Canva Any other photo editing softwares that are comparable to the listed software Competency in one of the following video editing software: Adobe Premiere Capcut Any other video editing softwares that are comparable to the listed software Graphic designing and video editing skills Able to design visually pleasing social media content. Strong communication skills, both written and oral Able to quickly and easily express oneself in a way that&aposs also easy for netizens to comprehend. Cultural competency and sensitivity Able to understand, make and execute inclusive plans for cultural diversity. Ability to build and maintain relationships Able to provide prompt responses and communicate compassionately and clearly.
