ROLE OVERVIEW Support the beverage manufacturing operations through technical expertise aimed at improving production efficiency, driving automation initiatives, optimizing energy use, and evaluating new technologies to maintain competitive advantage. This position needs to play a crucial role in the success of the projects and requires senior level of leadership, communication with internal/external stakeholders, problem-solving skills, regulatory control. contract management, time management, managing minimum distraction to business, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical support for production teams and resolve engineering issues promptly. Identify and implement productivity and efficiency improvements across manufacturing lines. Lead assessments of emerging technologies relevant to beverage production, packaging, and sustainability. Develop and manage automation projects to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention. Monitor and improve energy usage, supporting the company's sustainability goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Maintenance, and R&D. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Support capital investment planning with data-driven recommendations. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations or equipment failures. Continuous Improvement: Initiate improvement measures in Project management system to accelerate project turnover and monitor the progress visually and systematically. Areas that need to be covered are all of manufacturing related activities; NPD, capacity expansion, productivity improvement, cost reduction, safety, quality, legal, sustainability, technology obsolescence, equipment aging. Exploring productivity improvement/ cost reduction opportunity on site (actual site/ objects/ facts), interpreting into activities and roadmap. Leading technical competency improvement of plant engineers by giving trainings, kaizen opportunities. Other Ad Hoc Roles Any other related functions may be assigned from time to time. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or more degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or related field) 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the beverage/FMCG sector. Proven track record in implementing productivity or automation projects. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, utilities (steam, air, refrigeration), and plant energy systems. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma). Proficient in technical troubleshooting, project management, and data analysis tools.
