- Responsible for hiring and retaining a diverse, highly qualified staff and for providing career coaching, growth and personal development.
- Provides the first point of contact for Manufacturing on yield, quality, and throughput issues.
- Provides solutions to identified production problems.
- Analyses Manufacturing rejects as required to reclaim where possible, identify, and rectify root causes of rejects.
- Ensures NCR's, and Concessions are processed accurately and effectively.
- Ensures adherence and compliance to the Quality System and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Identifies opportunities for safety, quality, and cost improvements on the Manufacturing lines.

- Monitors operations with an eye toward improving yield, scrap, productivity and efficiency.
- Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
- Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
- Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
- Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
- Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues.
- Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
- Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.

- Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards in the field or industry
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and supply-chain management
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Just In Time (JIT) strategizing

- Experience using System Applications and Products (SAP) software.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field such as Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- Minimum 12 years relevant work experience in a Medical device manufacturing environment is REQUIRED
- Six Sigma and CI knowledge, experience in a high tech or medical product manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and productively with others.
- Demonstrated personal computer skills including spreadsheet skills, word processing, data base management and other relevant project management applications.
- Good interpersonal skills and written communication in English.
