This mid-level role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in sales, marketing, or business development, combined with strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and work closely with senior leadership to drive commercial outcomes.Job Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Account Management
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities in Malaysia
  • Support the preparation of commercial proposals, presentations, and pitch materials
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis
  • Assist in pipeline management, client engagement, and deal tracking
  • Regional Administrative & Coordination Tasks
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for regional initiatives and cross-border projects
  • Assist in internal reporting, meeting scheduling, and documentation for strategic partnerships
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely execution of tasks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, marketing, or business development, ideally within insurance, fintech, or related industries
  • Exposure to regional roles or cross-market collaboration is an added advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and research capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-making
  • Organised, resourceful, and able to multitask under minimal supervision
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and growing new ventures
  • Collaborative and team-oriented but capable of independent execution
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
