  • Assist in managing and supervising all maintenance operations including preventive maintenance, repair, and emergency response.
  • Support the planning and execution of maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and initiate necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments to address maintenance-related issues promptly.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of technicians to ensure high standards of work and productivity.
  • Manage inventory of tools, parts, and materials and coordinate with procurement when necessary.
  • Ensure timely documentation and reporting of maintenance activities, incidents, and equipment status.
  • Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives across the property.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, maintenance reports, and capital improvement plans.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in all back-of-house engineering areas.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel engineering/maintenance operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, MEP systems, building automation, fire safety, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to manage technical teams and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Familiar with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
