As part of the broader PR & Influence and Social team, you will also work collaboratively with team members on integrated PR and Influence campaigns.The Role: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Executive - Social Media & Influence, to join our growing Social@Ogilvy team. This role requires strong expertise across both social media and influencer marketing, with the ability to manage campaign components independently and deliver high-quality output with minimal supervisionYou will contribute to campaign planning, oversee executional excellence, and provide informed recommendations to clients that will strengthen the performance outcomes of their content and campaigns. Working closely with the Senior Social Media Manager, you will ensure that social and influencer initiatives are delivered efficiently, strategically, and in line with client expectations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Social Media & Influencer Marketing Planning:
  • Support the development of social media and influence campaigns/projects aligned with client objectives and KPIs.
  • Translate briefs into structured content calendars and influencer plans with clear timelines and deliverables.
  • Identify relevant trends, formats, and content opportunities to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Contribute to platform insights and audience understanding during ideation and proposal stages.
  • Social Media & Influencer Campaign/Content Development:
  • Manage content calendars for assigned accounts or workstreams, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Draft and refine platform-appropriate copy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, XiaoHongShu, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, campaign messaging, and platform best practices before publishing.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to the Creative Team to maintain quality output and consistency.
  • Anticipate executional challenges and recommend practical solutions.
  • Influencer Marketing Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend influencers based on brand fit, audience profile, and engagement metrics.
  • Manage influencer coordination including outreach, briefing, deliverable tracking, and content review.
  • Prepare comprehensive influencer briefs outlining creative direction and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor influencer deliverables and consolidate performance data for reporting.
  • Maintain organised documentation of influencer communications, contracts, and trackers.
  • Community Management:
  • Oversee daily monitoring of social channels, ensuring timely and brand-aligned responses.
  • Exercise judgment in identifying sensitive conversations and escalate appropriately.
  • Guide Junior Executives in maintaining tone of voice and engagement standards.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:
  • Compile and analyse social and influencer performance data for monthly and campaign reports.
  • Translate performance metrics into structured insights and practical recommendations.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, clear, and aligned with agreed KPIs and scope of work.
  • Track progress against campaign objectives and highlight optimisation opportunities.
  • Project Coordination & Administration:
  • Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple campaigns with limited supervision.
  • Act as a dependable primary day to day contact for client updates and coordination, with senior oversight.
  • Provide guidance and support to Junior Executives on assigned projects.
  • Manage internal tools (e.g., Maconomy) to support PO creation, job code creation, and activity reporting processes.
  • Ensure trackers, documentation, and internal systems are properly maintained.
  • Demonstrate awareness of scope, deadlines, and quality expectations in all outputs.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • Experience:3-4 years of related industry experience in social media, influencer marketing, or communications (with at least 1 year in an agency setting).
  • Social Media Acumen:Strong grasp of the social media space, online media jargon, and technology. Familiarity with content algorithms and advertising formats on key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, XiaoHongShu, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and working-level clients. Fluent in English and at least one other language (Good to have: Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu)
  • Organisational Skills:Highly organised with a keen sense of attention to detail and robust follow-through.
  • Problem-Solving:Effective problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach.
  • Technical Proficiency:Knowledgeable in using social media tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, native analytics) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Basic video editing/graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Team Player:Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Curiosity:Relentless curiosity, a nose for news & trends, and a hunger for what makes great social content.
  • Work Ethic:Passion and pride in driving great work, coupled with a strong work ethic.
Note: This role may involve close collaboration with an alcoholic beverage brand. Candidates should be fully comfortable with the nature of the product and related marketing activities.What You Will Learn & Apply:
