To build that trust, we are hiring a Senior Social Media Manager / Social Content Creator based in our KL Headquarters to act as the digital voice and literal face of Teleport Next Day across Malaysia and our regional lanes.SUMMARY FOR THE ROLEThis is not a desk job where you hide behind stock photos and corporate graphics. You will be the on-camera face of Teleport Next Day. You will be the bridge between our operations, our brand, and the SME community. One day you might be at our sorting hub shooting a fast-paced IG Reel on how we clear customs in 4 hours; the next day you'll be at a bazaar interviewing a local fashion brand about how they ship to Singapore.This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role for an extroverted creator who knows how to make scroll-stopping, social-first content that builds credibility and trust with business owners. You will work closely with the Teleport Next Day Marketing team to ensure everything you shoot aligns with our "Faster, Cheaper, Better" pillars.Note: This is a full-time, on-site role based in our headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (hybrid arrangement).A DAY IN THE LIFE
Every day is different, but you will own the social engine from end to end:
  • Be the Face of the Brand: Confidently host, narrate, and star in our Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts. You are the human connection to our logistics network.
  • On-the-Ground Storytelling: Travel to our hubs, warehouses, and customer storefronts to capture raw, authentic operational and testimonial content.
  • End-to-End Social Ownership: Plan, shoot, edit, and publish content across our core channels
  • Fast-Turn Production: Expertly use tools like CapCut or Canva to cut native, vertical video edits, memes, and reactive content in hours, not weeks.
  • Community Engagement: Don't just post and ghost. Actively manage our social community, reply to SME sellers, and keep a pulse on eCommerce trends.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with the Product Marketer to ensure your organic social content warms up the audience for our paid performance campaigns.
Requirements:WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 4-5 years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, or brand-side storytelling.
  • On-Camera Confidence: You must be highly comfortable speaking on camera with high energy and articulate delivery.
  • Native Social Platform Fluency: You deeply understand the algorithm, pacing, hooks, and audio trends of Instagram Reels and TikTok.
  • The "Scrappy Creator" Mindset: You don't need a massive production crew. You can shoot an engaging video with just a smartphone, a ring light, and a wireless mic.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency. You know how to use local nuance and "rojak" language to authentically connect with Malaysian SMEs.
  • Strategic Autonomy: You can take a high-level marketing brief (e.g., "We need to show sellers that our customs process is safe") and turn it into a 30-second viral video script.
  • Bonus:
  • Ability to speak Mandarin and write in Chinese
  • Experience marketing to B2B audiences or eCommerce sellers
  • Background in fast-growth logistics/tech startups
