- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure timely submission of all statutory and regulatory payments.
- Assist the Director of Finance / Finance Manager in all aspects of financial management and reporting.
- Support the implementation and improvement of financial systems, controls and processes.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and relevant authorities.
- Participate in financial analysis, reporting and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial procedures and best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems, Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI), hotel PMS (e.g., Opera etc.), and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and support a fast-paced operational environment.
