As a strategic partner in fostering a compliant, productive, and equitable workplace, this role is pivotal in driving Employee Relations Excellence across the organization. Reporting directly to the ER lead, the position focuses on three core pillars: 1. Employee Relations Implement ER frameworks, building guidelines and standard operating procedures. Support on HR compliance and HR policies matters including drafting and implementing such in a legally compliant manner. Poor performance management. Reductions in workforce. HR/Manager training. 2. Employment Investigation Partner with HR and business leaders to manage and resolve employee concerns, and grievances effectively. Conduct thorough and independent employment investigations in line with company policies, procedures and legal requirements. Refine the investigations process to streamline and bring in efficiencies. 3. Operational Excellence Train HRGs and managers on employee relations topics. Create and maintain ER data base on case management systems. Assess ER risks and trends analysis and support in building action plans to mitigate legal and compliance risk where necessary. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in law/HR focusing on employee relations matters and empolyment investigations. Minimum 5 years of experience in employee relations and employment investigations, in Malaysia and broader APAC region. Experience outside APAC is also a plus. Strong knowledge of Malaysia and APAC employment laws and regulations. Experience working with Unions/Work Council. Strong willingness to learn and grow on the job. Must be able to work under pressure and deal with complex issues. Strong analytical and writing skills. Excellent attention to detail. Clear and respectful communications. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and leaders in a fast-paced environment. Can do attitude. Have a 'learn it all' mindset and not a 'know it all' mindset. Always a Day One approach to ER/investigations.
