Adecco is seeking a Risk Manager for a client in the financial sector. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in risk management, particularly within the fund industry, global markets, wealth management, or insurance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of risk frameworks and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships both locally and globally. This position demands resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role is based in Putrajaya, with a requirement for 100% office attendance. Flexibility around Malaysian public holidays is expected, and the candidate should have no issues with commuting to the work locationWhat Will You Do?

Manage stakeholder relationships in both local and global settings effectively
Proactively identify root causes and recommend solutions for risk management
Execute, manage, and adapt practices related to risk activities regionally
Provide independent assessments of operational risk profiles associated with designated activities
Engage with business units to evaluate their understanding of risk profiles and control effectiveness

Your Skills

5-8 years of experience in a Risk Manager role or over 8 years in the financial services industry
Strong execution skills and ability to manage risk frameworks
Experience in people management is advantageous
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate resilience
Good stakeholder management skills and ability to adapt practices regionally
