- Preparation of monthly group consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS.
- Review monthly management accounts for certain group entities to ensure accuracy, compliance with SFRS, and adherence to Group policies.
- Ensure the timely submission of financial data by each entity, providing support and guidance when necessary.
- Perform group-level analysis, including variance analysis, and provide insights to management on financial performance.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with SFRS and the timely completion of audits for group consolidated statements and local statutory accounts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with SFRS.
- Drive the automation of manual processes and foster a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and governance policies, maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.
- Lead SAP data clean-up activities for certain group entities, working with relevant stakeholders to resolve open items and ensure data integrity.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of juniors, providing coaching on accounting best practices, technical knowledge, and professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, in particular Strategic Finance and Operations.
- Handle ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years in audit and 3 years of commercial experience.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and develop a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience in SAP B1 will be an added advantage.
